Cloud Platform Security Expert, CommonAI Compute

• Practical, hands on and able to work across layers of the stack when needed
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and securing platforms on AWS and other hyperscalers
• Deep understanding of: IAM & identity federation
• Networking expertise (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPNs, private endpoints)
• Knowledge of compute orchestration (Kubernetes, VMs, serverless)
• Cloud cost optimization and resource governance
• Programming experience for IaC in Python, Go, Bash or similar
• Able to troubleshoot problems in production and work with key customers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Desirable

• We are building a multi-cloud platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that our platform is scalable, secure and resilient. We are looking for a security expert who can be responsible for security across our IT, software development and production environments
• We work with multiple cloud vendors so we need someone with deep knowledge of platform security who is able to apply that knowledge across familiar and unfamiliar cloud environments. You will be responsible for resilience and security testing
• You will work with the software team to ensure that the platform is secure by design. You will implement security best practices across the company for all IT, development and production environments. You will also work with customers to ensure that their use of our platform and services is secure. This includes working with the non-profit side of our group to secure their research environment

• Selected candidates will be invited to a half hour screening call
• Some will then be scheduled for a 45 minutes introductory call with Dr Rosemary Francis, our CTO
• Finally there is a 2 hour technical deep dive with others in the team.
