Role
Who you are
- Proven experience as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner in a cross-functional agile environment
- Prior experience of working with web and mobile applications
- Strong ability to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps and translate them into actionable requirements
- Hands-on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working alongside engineering, design, and QA teams
- Track record of using product analytics tools, product data, and metrics to inform decisions (bonus points if you’ve used Pendo!)
- Experience engaging stakeholders, balancing competing priorities, and managing expectations transparently
- A customer-first mindset with a track record of uncovering user needs through research, feedback, or discovery activities
Desirable
- Experience working in a start up or scale up environment
- Experience or familiarity with product led growth and/or user centric product development
- Prior experience in the EdTech or Disability sector
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Product Manager with a track record of building impactful products to join our small but highly motivated team. In this hybrid PM/PO role, you will play a lead role in developing the roadmap for your product, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality outcomes, and work hands on with developers, designers, and QA to ensure product success and growth.
- You will report to the Head of Product and work closely with our other Product Manager
- Your primary focus will be:
- Strategy and Roadmap: Collaborate effectively with product, design, development and QA to establish, evolve, and deliver the roadmap for your product
- Delivery and Execution: Support the development team by documenting clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritise your product’s backlog, balancing new features, enhancements and technical considerations to maximise value
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships across teams, ensuring alignment and transparency by communicating priorities, trade-offs, and progress
- User Champion: Conduct customer, user, and market research to uncover opportunities and ensure the product solves real customer problems
- Data Driven Decisions: Use product analytics, KPIs, and customer feedback to identify trends, validate assumptions, and drive continuous improvement
- Support Go To Market: Partner with sales and customer-facing teams, including occasional product demos and enablement

Our take
Wellness and organisation apps are a dime a dozen, but ones focused specifically on the well-being and practicalities of living with a learning difficulty are far fewer. Booost Education melds mental health support, diary and workload management, and routine building features into one platform.
With a team of disability needs assessors and UX designers behind the app, Booost is backed by founders with a solid understanding of what neurodiverse students need to help them succeed in the study. The product is currently live and available, both for UK students receiving the Disabled Students Allowance grant and for individuals, schools, colleges and universities.
Whilst apps such as Asana and Epic Win dominate the American market, there appears to be space for Booost in the UK software industry. That being said, Booost should partner with universities and DSA governing bodies to make sure it reaches as much of its target audience as possible, who must be convinced to use it regularly for it to make the biggest difference.
