Role
Who you are
- Experience: 5+ years in Strategic Customer Success or Key Account Management, preferably in high-growth B2B SaaS startups
- Account Expertise: Proven track record managing a few large, complex accounts with $1M+ in ARR or equivalent scope
- Consultative Approach: Skilled at working with every level of the business: executive stakeholders, operations leaders, contributors to understand their goals and deliver outcomes
- Hands-On & Autonomous: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership—without needing constant direction
- Collaborative & Internal Influence: Excellent cross-functional communication—ensuring customer feedback is woven into product and service enhancements
- Weekly Local Travel: Comfortable engaging with regular in-person meetings, drop-ins, trainings within a two hour drive

- We’re seeking a West Coast based Strategic Account Director to partner with our most impactful, high-touch enterprise accounts in key regional markets
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, enjoys building deep customer partnerships, and excels at on-site account engagement, roadmap partnership, and revenue growth planning

- Drive Growth & Retention: Prospect, develop, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities and contract renewals
- Strategic Account Planning: Partner with EvenUp product and executive teams to develop and execute long-term success plans aligned with customer objectives and business outcomes
- Own High-Value Accounts: Lead a portfolio of 5-10 key accounts, ensuring they receive personalized, high-touch support and strategic guidance
- On-site Client Engagement: Be present with clients at least once a week—build trust, understand evolving goals, and ensure alignment
- Outcome-Focused Advocacy: Advocate for customer needs internally, providing insights to Product, Finance, and Engineering to improve offerings and align on goals
Our take
Every year, millions of personal injury cases in the US are resolved with only a small fraction going to trial, leaving many victims potentially under-compensated due to inaccurate settlement proposals. EvenUp aims to change this by leveraging AI technology to streamline the assessment of injury cases.
The AI tools evaluate raw case files, including medical and police records, creating tailored "demand packages" that present comprehensive compensation arguments. This improves lawyer performance and victim outcomes.
Despite concerns about AI bias and privacy, EvenUp has garnered significant investor interest, closing a funding round in 2025 that was one of the largest in the history of legal AI. Now valued at over $2 billion, it is investing in its team and introducing new techniques and products for personal injury and other legal areas.
