Who you are

Experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
Experience in the food delivery industry (JET, Uber eats, Dominos, Papa Johns, etc.) is an advantage
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to travel as needed within the UK
Availability to travel across the EU without restrictions for training, meetings, and cross-market collaboration

What the job involves

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Food Delivery business
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive retention and upselling opportunities
Pioneer our UK market entry, building operations and customer relationships from scratch in this new territory
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Present and demonstrate Ebike4Delivery solutions to potential clients through meetings, calls, and virtual presentations
Schedule and conduct on-site product demonstrations and pitching sessions to showcase our e-bikes to potential clients
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals
Work closely with internal teams, including operations and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery
Represent Ebike4Delivery at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

Our take

Electric bicycles or e-bikes are excellent means of transport for last-mile deliveries as they are carbon-neutral, fast, and easy to maneuver around urban environments. However, they are also expensive to purchase and prone to breaking, and a lack of repair services can mean that a rider is out of work for the foreseeable future.

Cycle (formerly known as GetHenry) provides a subscription service for the rental of e-bikes that are designed to be used for last-mile deliveries, offering the service to both individuals and business fleets. In addition to the bikes, a subscription with the company provides customers with free mechanic servicing within 48 hours, insurance for theft and accidents, and e-bike fleet management software for businesses.

Whilst e-bikes can already be rented by last-mile riders as a means to avoid the expenses of purchasing one up-front, Cycle stands out by tackling the additional challenges of repairs and insurance. By providing end-to-end and flexible subscriptions, the service shows great potential to facilitate seamless last-mile services on both small and large scales.
