Role
Who you are
- Experience: 3+ years of proven success in sales, particularly within K-12 education and curriculum
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesloft to manage customer relationships and streamline sales processes
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product value and engage effectively with diverse audiences
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to listen, understand customer needs, and build lasting relationships
- Educational Industry Knowledge: Insight into the education sector, with a solid understanding of the challenges and needs of educators and institutions
- Kiddom policy requires employees to be vaccinated before they visit an office or attend company events.
- We have remote roles but in certain positions where office attendance is deemed to be essential to the role, offers of employment shall be conditional upon proof of vaccination
What the job involves
- Kiddom is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to be part of our dynamic team.
- In this role, you will engage with potential clients primarily through phone calls, emails, and video calls to introduce and promote Kiddom's transformative educational products and services.
- We’re looking for a high performer who can quickly build rapport with educators and decision-makers, identify their needs, and effectively communicate how Kiddom’s solutions can help them succeed
- Prospecting: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media to build a robust pipeline of potential clients interested in Kiddom's educational solutions
- Customer Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth conversations with potential clients to understand their educational challenges, requirements, and objectives, allowing you to tailor presentations and recommendations effectively
- Presenting Products: Demonstrate Kiddom's innovative products and services through engaging virtual meetings, providing detailed insights into features, benefits, and how they address specific educational needs
- Closing Sales: Skillfully negotiate and close deals, ensuring client satisfaction and a seamless transition from prospect to valued customer
- Educational Consultation: Serve as a trusted consultant to educators and administrators, sharing insights on educational trends and how Kiddom's solutions can enhance learning outcomes
Our take
Digital education has become an increasing reality in recent years. Whilst services such as Zoom have provided platforms for remote teaching, the minimal functionality of such services has outlined the lack of digital engagement tools that classrooms require.
Kiddom develops a collaborative learning platform for K-12 schooling that aims to provide integrated solutions to not only remote teaching but also in-person school and homework assignments. The platform allows teachers to assign tasks and to collaborate with students on them, whilst the software gathers data to provide insights on student engagement and performance.
The startup currently provides its services to individual teachers for free, but solutions for inter-institutional curriculums come at an annual subscription fee. Kiddom’s approach aims to provide solutions and fill the gap between remote and in-school teaching, at the same time as integrating student analytics to optimize and personalize the way students are educated.
