Company mission

Figma's mission is to help teams create, share, test, and ship better designs from start to finish.

Role

Who you are

  • 8+ years in product marketing or a related role
  • Direct experience operating as a full-stack marketer, leading cross-functional initiatives from ideation to execution
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new products and industries—unafraid to dive into the nitty gritty technical details
  • Track record of being able to manage stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to senior executives. Must have experience driving executive-level conversations

Desirable

  • Both B2B and B2C marketing experience
  • Experience with product design/web development tools

What the job involves

  • Figma is looking for a “full-stack” Product Marketing Manager to support Figma’s core design products
  • You will partner with our product, sales, design, and broader marketing teams to build, launch, and drive adoption of new capabilities from product designers
  • Some of these may be improvements to existing functionality based on user feedback, while others are more 0 -> 1 initiatives that serve as new vectors of growth for our business
  • Lead creative, results-driven product launches
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the product design areas that you lead
  • Develop product messaging and positioning that sets us apart from competitors and demonstrates understanding of our customers’ needs
  • Manage our beta programs, from customer outreach, managing beta communications, coordinating feedback sessions, to promoting customer success stories
  • Drive deeper engagement of our product through a variety of educational content—blog posts, product tips, best practice guides, live streams, and more
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to launch campaigns that span web, onboarding, activation, and adoption
  • Work with the Sales team to develop impactful enablement resources and arm the team to better position ourselves against other competitors and products

Our take

Figma is a web-based design platform that helps cross-functional teams of designers, project managers, and developers easily collaborate on product design projects. Its standout feature, Multiplayer mode, is like Google Docs for design, letting team members collaborate in real-time on project files that are hosted in the cloud.

Founded in 2012, Figma quickly established itself among its competitors in the sector and, in 2024, achieved a valuation of $12.5 billion after a large funding round backed by the likes of General Catalyst and Andreessen Horowitz. However, its recent focus on AI tools has had mixed results; Figma's Make Design tool, which generates apps using AI, was taken off the market soon after launch.

Nevertheless, thousands of industry-leading companies such as Airbnb, Dropbox, GitHub and Microsoft use Figma to scale their design efforts easily across distributed teams. A 2025 IPO is on the cards too, and Figma has the customer base and market trust to pull it off.
