Role
Who you are
- 3+ years direct Sales experience in SaaS
- Prior experience strategically selling directly to CISOs, CTOs or other executives within the IT/Technology infrastructure
- Self-starter, responsible for your own territory with experience building out your own territory plan
- Identify compelling value propositions that address customer needs
- Experience using our tech stack: Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, SFDC, ZoomInfo
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate highly technical concepts to a technical audience
Desirable
- Cybersecurity or email security experience
- Sales training such as: MEDDIC, Command of the Message
What the job involves
- Valimail is seeking an Account Executive to help accelerate new logo acquisition on our Mid Market Sales team
- You will assist in Valimail's overall growth by strategically engaging and closing net-new customers across small-to-medium size markets.You have a chance to join a fast-growing, revenue-generating, venture-funded startup with name-brand customers as we build a meaningful security category
- Own the Sales Lifecycle, from lead to close, with companies within the Mid Market space (250 - 10,000 employees)
- Identify and pursue new target accounts, maintain a high volume of revenue-driving activity
- Strategically map out and break into accounts in companies in the Mid-Market Segment
- Utilize solution and value-selling techniques along with overcoming objections to effectively guide sales processes to close
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams like Product, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success
- Keep CRM system up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data so we can learn more about our business and our sales process
- Travel occasionally
