- Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen working in our Development team. We are now looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, passionate and driven individual who literally wants to help us take on the world! Working as a UX/UI Lead, your role will be based at our Leeds office for a least 2 days per week, with remote working available for the other 3 days
- The primary purpose of your role will be to Lead the strategic development and execution of user interfaces and experiences to optimise usability, functionality, and visual appeal across mobile applications and web platforms. You will be responsible for understanding user needs, translating them into intuitive and engaging designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of these designs
- The UX/UI Lead will be instrumental in Championing user-centric design principles by conducting in-depth user research, analysing user needs and behaviours, and translating insights into intuitive and engaging design solutions. Drive the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation and wireframing to prototyping and user testing, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product champions, developers, and stakeholders, to facilitate the successful implementation of design solutions and ensure a seamless user experience
- Mentor and coach members of the UX design team, providing guidance on best practices, design methodologies, and industry trends to foster continuous learning and professional growth. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, design trends, and industry developments to inform design decisions and drive innovation in UX/UI design practices
- Act as a thought leader and advocate for user experience excellence within the organisation, influencing stakeholders and fostering a culture of user-centric design across all digital touchpoints. Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and documentation to ensure consistency and coherence in design execution and brand representation across all platforms and products., so that we can help many more people and radically improve teaching for learners across the globe!
What the job involves
- Permanent Role, 37 hours per week
