Education Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field
Experience Requirements: One (1) years of experience as a Software Developer or related occupation
Must have experience with the following: OOP programming and programming languages (Java, Python); open source development tools (Maven, Jenkins, GIT); AWS (EC2, S3); Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD pipeline (DevOps); Spring Boot (REST API development); SQL; React JS; Backend technologies (Node JS, Mongo DB, and Websockets); ELK Stack for logging; Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring; Terraform; and working in an Agile development environment

What the job involves

Software Developer (Live Nation Worldwide, Inc.; Beverly Hills, California): Investigate and implant new technologies to improve team efficiency and data delivery to clients
Utilize new streaming and data delivery technologies and cloud storage platforms
Implement new technologies to better dynamically scale our infrastructure and make it easier to build and deploy code in a DevOps development model
Improve and implement new tools to provide more security to our platforms while also providing more visibility into system health through improved monitoring and alerting tools and processes
Improve team performance by investigating and implementing automation processes to remove toil wherever possible
Lias with development peers throughout the company
Interact with a multitude of other systems (payments, resale, entry systems) in North America and around the globe
After implementing new systems, closely monitor and evaluate them, looking for constant improvement
Closely interact with other developers, management, Project Management, Product Management, Operations, and a wide variety of teams throughout the organization
Telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy

Live Nation is the world's leading live entertainment company, sitting at the top of the market in live events and ticketing. Formed in 2005, it is a major international company, with key business segments made up of concerts, ticketing, and sponsorship and advertising.

Despite its dominant position in the market, the company saw an 84% drop in revenue during 2020 and the closure of live events. Since then, however, demand has been stronger than ever for their ticket sales. This is a reflection that live events remain a clear priority for consumers and has been further reflected in Live Nation's acquisitions of companies - like Goodlive - that complement and bolster Live Nation's portfolio.

In addition to live events, a key area to watch for Live Nation will be the rise of online concert streaming, like that undertaken by competitors such as Driift.
