Role
Who you are
- Degree In Accounting, Finance or related, CPA highly preferred
- At least 3 years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred), and 5 years progressive Accounting experiencee
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP
- Must possess experience auditing or working in healthcare delivery, VBC a plus
- Must Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar multi-dimensional financial ERP

What the job involves
- We are seeking a technically excellent and results-oriented professional to join our team as Accounting Manager
- Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager supports financial reporting, operations and technical accounting projects
- You possess the ability to put the business first while prioritizing efficiency and scalability

- Possess an ownership mentality for the Month End Close process. Identify opportunities and bottlenecks to consistently meet SLAs
- Prepare Financial Reporting packages, including financial statements and ad hoc reports for stakeholders
- Develop and implement compliance framework for state and local regulatory filings
- Provide support for Hopscotch's annual Financial Statement Audit and Tax Return Filings
- Provide Technical Accounting support, specifically in the areas of ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 810
- Be a leader and thought partner on ERP and other system design, use, and refinement
- Coordinating with the strategic finance team to produce regular budgets, forecasts and long-range plans
- Drive compliance of financial policies and procedures

Alarming statistics from the CDC highlight that individuals in these regions face a significantly higher risk of succumbing to heart disease, cancer, unintentional injury, chronic lower respiratory disease, and strokes.
While the concept of value-based healthcare, a model where healthcare providers are compensated based on patient health outcomes rather than sheer sales and services, is gaining traction and efficacy in urban areas, rural communities continue to lag behind, mirroring the disparities seen in traditional healthcare frameworks.
Despite being in early development, Hopscotch Health's trajectory largely hinges on its ability to establish valuable partnerships with payers, healthcare providers, practitioners, and the communities themselves. Nevertheless, there is ample room for optimism, given the substantial potential within an underserved market.
