Role
Who you are
- 1+ years of experience in HR management, ideally with experience in talent acquisition or people operations
- Familiarity with German labor law and other geographies is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail
- Quickly adaptable to changing priorities in an evolving business environment
- Strong willingness to go the extra mile without shying away from tasks that simply need to get done
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
What the job involves
- We at CEEZER are looking for a highly motivated People Manager
- You’ll work closely with our People & Culture Manager and various business stakeholders in a fast-moving and VC-funded startup
- Own full recruitment processes to get exceptional CZRs on board: Creating job descriptions, sourcing & screening candidates, interviewing, drafting contracts, and ensuring a great onboarding together with hiring managers
- Support in further shaping our short- and long-term recruiting strategy across topics like internationalization and DEI
- Support and own HR operations processes, incl. processing employee data, payroll, and shaping company policies
- Research regulations and best practices for a compliant, forward-thinking, and best-in-class People strategy
- Support and own initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, such as organizing events, creating employer branding content, or supporting our career growth framework development

Becoming carbon neutral is now a top priority for companies across Europe. In order to successfully make Europe net zero, businesses must hit compliance targets and minimize/offset carbon emissions. This is where Berlin-based CEEZER comes in.
CEEZER is a marketplace that in short wants to support its clients to decarbonise their operations. The company offers businesses a way to integrate both carbon removal and avoidance credits in portfolios, making the complex voluntary carbon market considerably more accessible.
The company has already passed several successful funding rounds and acquired many customers including the likes of DAX30. Though the market or this type of company is fairly saturated, the calling for the companies is so large that it shouldn’t be an issue. CEEZER is investing its latest fundraise in expanding its US presence and further developing both its product and team.
