Who you are
- This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of integrated marketing, membership growth strategies, event promotion, and partnership development
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in membership-based organizations, preferably within the home services or related industries
- Experience in event marketing, including promoting training programs and tradeshows.
- Strong understanding of partnership marketing, with experience in developing and managing vendor relationships.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content marketing.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Creative thinker with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Director of Marketing who will lead Service Nation's marketing initiatives to drive growth in new memberships, enhance engagement with existing members, and promote events, training programs, and partnerships
- The Director will oversee a team of marketers, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product offerings, and sales strategies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Service Nation's business objectives, focusing on membership growth, member engagement, and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, product development, and sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives support product launches, sales goals, and overall business growth.
- Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to attract new members across the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical industries
- Develop retention programs to enhance existing member engagement, promote membership upgrades, and reduce churn
- Utilize data-driven insights to segment audiences and personalize marketing efforts for maximum impact.
- Lead the marketing efforts for Service Nation's events, including training sessions, workshops, and tradeshows.
- Develop promotional strategies to increase event attendance, sponsorships, and overall visibility.
- Collaborate with event planners and coordinators to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all event materials.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential rebate vendors, developing programs to drive new partnerships.
- Manage marketing initiatives for existing partnerships, ensuring mutual value and alignment with Service Nation's goals.
- Collaborate with partners to create co-branded marketing materials and campaigns that benefit both parties.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional development opportunities for team members.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
- Monitor expenditures, analyze ROI, and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize marketing spend.
