Who you are

- Recent graduate with a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field OR in the final year of a BS degree in above listed fields
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with preference for C\C++\C# or Python
- Understanding of the basic principles of software design, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with software development tools like source control (git) and IDEs
- Self-motivated individual that works well in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication and documentation skills
- Fast learner willing to gain exposure to multiple new systems, software tools, and technologies
What the job involves
- Noah Medical’s Research and Development (R&D) Team is responsible for the development of endoluminal medical device solutions that are safe, effective, and on-time
- We are a dynamic, data driven team and pride ourselves on our creative and collaborative approach to problem solving. We continuously strive for win-win solutions that our customers love
- Noah Medical R&D team members have the traditional role of design and prototyping but also take the lead on design requirements, specifications, design risk assessment, test methods, verification testing and more. R&D also plays a critical cross functional role in support through production and even field reliability
- Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a start-up environment with minimal supervision and guidance
- Contribute to the design and development process of software for a robotic platform and its subsystems
- Understand requirements and specifications in order to write quality software and software unit tests that verify these requirements are met
- Troubleshoot and seek to understand technical issues as they arise in the software development process, and communicate these issues and potential solutions with the system software engineering team

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States and affects over 200,000 Americans a year. Early detection and rapid diagnosis are key to overcoming this disease, and this is what Noah Medical seeks to provide with a robotic lung surgery system.
While medical science has made great strides in this area in recent years, Noah Medical's Galaxy system boasts numerous features which outshine competing offerings. Smaller and more mobile than most units, the device's robotic arm is able to fit on a single-wheeled cart, and its single-use probes remove the need for deep cleaning and the risk of cross-contamination. It also features visual sensors allowing surgeons to verify that its probe is within the target tissue, reducing the likelihood of false readings or surgical errors.
Having received FDA clearance for its device, Noah Medical has also received significant financial backing from investors. This will be used for the commercialization of its technology and scaling its production as demand for the product increases. With an innovative device meeting a pressing medical need, Noah Medical is positioning itself at the forefront of a fight against a deadly disease and is a leader in the medtech space.
