Role
Who you are
- Proven track record in a similar, senior-level design position
- Must-Have: Experience working within a creative and/or marketing agency, with a focus on design for ASO, performance marketing or CRM
- Must-Have: Proficiency with Figma, including automation and components, and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools
- Demonstrable creative thinking and a strong conceptual approach showcased in a robust portfolio of work
- Excellent eye for layout, typography, and design for mobile-first environments
- Ability to create and maintain new processes and workflows
- Experience with GenAI for creative work, and a genuine interest in AI trends in general
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills (additional languages are a plus)
What the job involves
- The Senior Designer provides design leadership and art direction, ensuring top-tier visual solutions to a range of challenges for one of Phiture’s flagship accounts
- Reporting to a Creative Lead, you’ll create and implement a compelling design vision based on a deep understanding of the client’s brand guidelines and strategy
- You will work with a squad of talented designers, ensuring consistent creative quality across the client’s products, and collaborate closely with copywriters, consultants, and clients to develop strong creative briefs that the team can execute
- The Senior Designer should exhibit outstanding design judgment and work collaboratively with the design, writing, and motion teams to achieve the highest possible standards for creative assets across multiple channels
- Lead design initiatives across a portfolio of apps for international clients, balancing hands-on design work (70%) with guiding junior designers (30%)
- Collaborate with consultants and other creatives to produce concepts and design for user acquisition, icons, screenshots, and other app-specific assets
- Undertake large-scale design localization, sometimes working on assets for 30+ markets
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' business challenges and lead art direction to address marketing and other business objectives
- Act as a primary design voice for client-facing engagements, including meetings and bespoke workshops
- Challenge and develop creative strategies, demonstrating a profound understanding of how strategy influences design solutions
- Assist the Creative Lead and Project Managers with creative planning and team efficiencies
- Drive adoption of GenAI in the wider creative team in order to unlock new creative opportunities and efficiencies
- Develop thought leadership expertise, contributing to and presenting on webinars and conferences
