Who you are
- Work experience with demonstrated success in high-performance cultures (whether in consulting, investment banking, or strategy or operations at a high-growth marketplace/technology company)
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to provide insights and recommendations to support strategy development and execution
- Strong data retrieval, analytics, data visualization, and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships internally and collaborate with local and global stakeholders across departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
- Proficiency with AI tooling for research and analysis
- Experience with Salesforce (reports, dashboards), Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Looker), and SQL are a strong plus
- A naturally curious, solution-oriented performer
- Proactive go-getter who takes the initiative to streamline process and drive impact for the team
What the job involves
- As a Business Operations Manager, you will manage high-priority cross-functional projects with strategic implications for the region
- You will surface areas for improvement and work cross-functionally to develop and execute tactics and processes to drive performance, down to the hyperlocal level
- Reporting to the regional Head of Business Operations, you will work across departments to build reporting, analyze trends, facilitate discussions, and recommend and implement practices that boost performance
- Manage high-priority cross-functional projects
- Monitor marketplace health at the national and city level; surface areas for improvement and collaborate with relevant departments to drive the right actions
- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative insights into concise, actionable recommendations that can be digested by leaders across the business
- Ensure analytical and operational rigor in our reporting and processes
- Support knowledge and best practice sharing and implementation among local and global stakeholders; drive adoption of team knowledge base to ensure key processes are documented and shared across the organization

Our take
With more than one-third of food wasted in shops and restaurants, tonnes of otherwise quality goods are unnecessarily lost. Too Good To Go connects customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold, surplus food, offering steep discounts. Through this, businesses can sell surplus meals that would've otherwise gone to waste, and the environment wins as no food is wasted.
The company has certainly found its niche with sustainability-conscious consumers (a group that is growing in size as environmentally-focused consumers get more spending power). Too Good To Go's app has over 90M users across 18 countries and 215,000+ partners including retailers, hotels and restaurants such as ALDI, Carrefour, Accor and YO! Sushi.
The company is also creating a food waste movement website intended to be an informative source of knowledge regarding the issue. This is part of a wider strategy at raising awareness of the food waste problem, to get more users on board and further help the planet. A 200 million euro fund raise is allegedly in the works for 2025, which would push the platform to unicorn status.
