Role
Who you are
- 10+ years in software development, focusing on the Android platform
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Android systems programming, with a deep understanding of Android OS internals and system-level development
- Familiarity with Android frameworks such as Android Jetpack, Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux), and Android's security architecture
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages, with a strong emphasis on Android development
- Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting tools specifically on Android platforms
- A team player with a can-do attitude, ready to tackle complex problems and eager to learn and grow
- Experience with iOS development (Swift/Objective-C) is a significant plus
- Skilled at collaboration and effective communication across multiple teams
- An M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience

- A crucial part of Prisma Access™ is our GlobalProtect mobile team, which is responsible for securing the network traffic from Customer devices (smartphones, tablets) to the Prisma Access™ Cloud
- We are seeking an experienced Mobile Software Engineer (Android) to design, develop, and deliver next-generation technologies within our GlobalProtect team
