Who you are

Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline
Two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering or two (2) years of experience in the job offered
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field))
One year of experience in the following: (1) Java; (2) JavaScript; (3) Python; (4) Kotlin; (5) Linux; (6) MacOS; (7) MongoDB; (8) MySQL; (9) Kubernetes; (10) Jenkins; (11) REST API; and (12) Node JS
Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable
Education, experience, and criminal background checks will be conducted

What the job involves

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs
Update software or enhance existing software capabilities
Implement tooling for early detection and remediation of security and license compliance issues related to secrets governance, fixing bugs, assisting in investigations to remediate customer facing problems and adding new functionality to the Salesforce secrets management tool
Collaborate closely with peer engineers from engineering, security, and compliance teams to identify and provide strategic solutions for compliance and application feature gaps
Define processes and implement tooling to support the enforcement of policy and compliance requirements
Lead architecture and implementation of tooling for early detection and remediation of security and license compliance-related issues
Perform early engagement and technical advisory and consultancy on new (acquisitions) products
Mentor team members to build core competencies in architecture, standards development, and recommended practices
