Head of Quality Assurance, Fast Track Solutions

• This leadership position is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in software quality and delivery models
• 5+ years in software quality or engineering roles, with 3+ years in a senior leadership or advisory capacity
• Excellent understanding of software delivery models (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) and how to embed quality effectively
• Deep experience with test strategy, architecture, and tooling, including the trade-offs between automation, manual testing, and observability
• Comfortable influencing at both executive and engineering levels
• Strong communication skills, and stakeholder management abilities

• Success in this role will be measured by the stability, reliability and continuous improvement of our software delivery lifecycle
• The Head of QA will be accountable for ensuring high-quality releases by reducing code-related incidents, minimising hotfixes, and strengthening confidence in our release pipelines
• The Head of QA will shape and execute QA strategies in a cloud-native, microservice-based environment, impacting practices at both executive and engineering levels
• As Fast Track continues to scale, this role will play a critical part in evolving our testing frameworks, enhancing automation strategies, and ensuring robust observability and monitoring across the platform
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement will be key, using data, retrospectives, and feedback loops to enhance QA processes, grow team capabilities, and proactively address quality challenges

• Evaluate and advise on QA tooling and frameworks, ensuring the tech stack scales with the platform
• Continuously improve testing practices and infrastructure in line with product and engineering needs
