Business Intelligence Analyst, Roofstock

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with a Business Intelligence tool such as Sigma, PowerBI, Tableau, etc
• Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools such as Snowflake and DBT
• Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions and solve complex problems
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment

• We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Data Science and Analytics team at Roofstock. This role will be responsible for supporting reporting and analytics projects across our entire business.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights and make data-driven decisions to optimize our business performance.
• You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and providing recommendations to support decision-making
• Implement and operationalize KPIs to guide the team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop datasets, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and trends effectively
• Champion a data culture across the company, supporting self-service analytics
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify opportunities and drive decision making
• Communicate complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences
