Role
Who you are
- User-centred content design: You have a deep understanding of how content impacts a user's end-to-end journey. You create using evidence and research and are responsible for content decisions
- User focus: You are experienced in converting various types of user research into content. You clearly articulate the needs of the user to help senior stakeholders and clients understand the user-led approach
- Content Prototyping: You can use a variety of methods of prototyping and choose the most appropriate ones based on the delivery phase and type of project
- Agile practices: You understand the role of content in multidisciplinary teams. You input on and support user research. You prioritise tasks appropriately and collaboratively and know how to measure and evaluate outcomes
- Inclusive design: You lead methods that help the team think about how to ensure the content of a product or service is inclusive, accessible, and equitable. Can confidently advocate why these practices are important with the team and client
- Project leadership and communication: Experienced in leading many complex projects and supporting junior team members. Self-motivated and enthusiastic, advocates for a sustainable pace and takes action when issues arise. Is diplomatic and collaborative with a calm temperament
- Demonstrating best practice and influencing the design of our client’s products and services, and contributing to the overall user experience
- Experience of working with and training others on comprehensive understanding of the Government Service Standards
- This role requires Security Clearance. You must have resided in the UK continuously for the past 5 years
What the job involves
- Work closely throughout the agile and service design phases, from discovery to live with user researchers, service designers and interaction designers to identify needs, and engage with users or stakeholders to collate user needs evidence
- Leading teams and demonstrating best practice for content design
- Coach other content designers to grow and develop their skills
- Lead on content design for complex projects with clients
- Deliver user-centred content to products and services that are live
- Contribute to our Content Design practice
- Ensuring content meets the legislative needs of our clients
- Understand and implement appropriate style and standards

- Clearance: This role requires Security Clearance. You must have resided in the UK continuously for the past 5 years
- All offers are subject to satisfactory vetting and reference checks. Depending on the nature of the role a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may also be required
