Role
Who you are
- You’re someone who enjoys digging into the details, continuously improving systems, and understands how accounting reflects the story of a business
- You’ll thrive in a low-structure, high-impact environment where you can grow, take initiative, and shape how we do things
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- 2+ years in a top 8 public accounting firm or 3+ of accounting experience in a high-growth tech company
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of IFRS, UK GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience using accounting software (Xero preferred)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and eager to learn
- A proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally
- Interest in sustainability and technology is a plus
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a dynamic Accountant to drive accurate financial reporting and support daily finance operations
- You’ll take a hands-on role across general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and process optimisation, helping us build a strong financial foundation as we scale
- Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Process vendor invoices, managing the weekly payment run process
- Maintain up-to-date records of supplier payments and expenses
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, and support collections when required
- Support monthly close processes including reconciliations, journal entries, and reviewing key balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure adherence to UK GAAP/IFRS and international accounting standards
- Work with our external accountants to support tax filings (including VAT returns), audits, and financial reporting
- Maintain organised, audit-ready records of financial transactions and documentation
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis for new business lines and special projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support their implementation

- Agustín Guilisasti, formerly of Cabify, one of the biggest ridesharing networks in the Spanish- and Portugese-speaking world and the first mobility company to offset its carbon footprint, moved to London to complete his Master of Data Science and wished to familiarise himself with his vibrant new city.
