Who you are

1-3 years of transferable software development experience in a corporate environment, including internship and co-op experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related technical discipline
Knowledge and experience working with object oriented programming languages
Experience or exposure to SQL, Java, and Python

Desirable

Excellent team player with a passion for collaboration
Familiarity with creating software tools and functionality, debugging code, and successfully incorporating feedback into your work
Strong skills in solving complex problems with simple abstract solutions
An interest in working with big data and machine learning
Experience with using cloud platforms to solve problems

Support designing and perform hands-on building of applications that are reliable, scalable and easy to maintain
Ensure that engineering quality standards are met within your team
Contribute to architectural and code review discussions that impact our engineering ecosystem
Collaborate with leads and engineers on your team to solve a wide variety of business and technical problems
Ensure our systems are properly documented
Contribute to the growth and development of the Wayfair engineering organization
