Who you are

3+ years of experience in software development with Python; Experience with Go Lang is a plus
Hands-on experience using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django for building REST APIs that run in production environments
Experience with common databases, such as PostgreSQL
Experience in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)
Experience working with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, etc
English communication skills

What the job involves

Among the technical challenges we are facing is the implementation of our own cloud infrastructure to serve our engine as a scalable cloud API solution
We are looking for an experienced backend developer to support us in building scalable cloud API as a service solution
You would be responsible for developing and maintaining our cloud service architecture, and building integration solutions

Our take

In many cases, documents may have too few keywords, or queries might be too large for the usual full-text search to provide the desired result. In such cases, the search either finds no intersections or returns a lot of irrelevant results. Qdrant is setting out to solve this problem with a neural network-based semantic search which can be used stand-alone or in conjunction with traditional search.

Qdrant utilizes applied AI and metric learning to provide users with an open-source neural search engine. This engine has proven popular with businesses looking to turn their unstructured data into an asset. The possible applications of this technology greatly vary, from product recommendations in e-commerce to image recognition and analysis of anomalies.
