2+ years sales or account management experience with proven track record of overachievement
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

Bachelor's degree or considerable and relevant work experience
A tech savvy person who is experienced working with a variety of different technology (we use Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales automation/enablement tools)
Interest (or a background) in life science would be helpful
Prior experience working / selling in the field

What the job involves

Quartzy is seeking a high energy Account Manager-Field Sales to manage key Quartzy accounts in our academic segment
In this role, you’ll build relationships with new accounts in order to maximize purchasing spend and grow adoption of the platform
Drive New Lab Acquisition: Identify and onboard new labs at key academic institutions, maximizing early engagement and platform adoption
Field Engagement: Spend 3+ days weekly in the field, building relationships with lab managers and researchers, hosting events, and aligning Quartzy’s solutions with customer needs
Sales Strategy Execution: Tailor sales strategies to each account, leveraging insights to enhance Quartzy’s value for specific lab goals
Account Development: Expand Quartzy’s presence in new and existing labs, boosting purchasing spend and platform use
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to integrate customer feedback and deliver exceptional service
Market Intelligence: Gather insights on competitors and market trends during field visits to sharpen our strategy
