Who you are
- 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with at least 4+ years focused on technical recruiting
- Experience leveraging AI tools and modern recruiting technology to improve efficiency and scale
- A proven track record of hiring high-performing technical talent in fast-paced or high-growth environments
- Strong sourcing and talent mapping skills across competitive technical markets
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions through data and market insights
- An “always learning” mentality with a passion for improving recruiting operations and candidate experience
- Clear, confident communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a strategic, metrics-driven Technical Recruiter/Senior Technical Recruiter who can attract and hire top technical talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- In this role, you’ll navigate ambiguity with confidence, build strong partnerships with hiring leaders, and play a key role in scaling world-class teams while delivering an exceptional candidate experience
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across Engineering
- Build and manage strong pipelines of high-quality technical talent through proactive sourcing and networking
- Partner closely with hiring managers to calibrate talent and drive efficient hiring processes
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience with clear communication, thoughtful process management, and strong relationship building
- Use data and recruiting metrics to drive decision-making, identify opportunities, and improve hiring outcomes
- Drive interview excellence and consistency through structured interviewing and interviewer enablement
- Continuously improve recruiting processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency and hiring quality
- Maintain strong reporting hygiene and provide regular hiring updates and market insights to stakeholders
- Use tools like Ashby, Pin, and Claude to streamline recruiting workflows, improve sourcing and outreach strategies, and drive operational efficiency throughout the hiring process

Collective is tapping into the quickly growing freelance and self employed workforce with a back office platform which provides full support for accounting, tax, bookkeeping and other financial admin, essentially removing the burden from the business owner entirely.
Launched in 2020, Collective didn’t take long to receive major backing from General Catalyst as well as Ashton Kutcher’s VC fund Sound Ventures. It’s put it to great use too, with an employee headcount now in the hundreds, showing just how fast the startup is growing.
Interestingly, Collective isn’t available for any and all subscribers. Rather, it only allows applicants to become members if Collective’s advisors know they can offer real value. It may seem a counter-intuitive move, but it keeps the company’s success rate high.
The company's latest funding round, raised in 2023, supports the accelerated implementation of AI across its operations as well as expanded onboarding efforts. Collective also continues to broaden the value of its offering, for example wit the launch of an AI accounting platform for one-person operations.
