Role
Who you are
- We are seeking an experienced Head of People who can effectively interact with business leaders at all levels, possesses excellent organization and communication skills, demonstrates a solid experience in talent development, and strives in a tech and fast-paced environment
- At least 7 years of experience as an HR/People BP in a similar type of international scale-up, with broad knowledge and experience in organization development, human resources, training, talent management and workforce planning field, preferably in tech companies
- Ability to relate to, influence and coach managers and leaders at all levels in the organization
- Excellent knowledge of French labor laws and regulations
- Ability to conduct performance analysis of existent strategies, procedures, and policies, identifying areas for improvement and developing actionable and sustainable solutions where needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, humble, and enjoy sharing & learning from others, especially in an international and multicultural environment
- Embrace change, ability to take a step back, prioritize, and focus on added-value tasks in a complex, multiteam, changing and fast-paced environment
- Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating an ability to move a group with a unified vision and common objective, and in a common direction
- Experience working with change management principles, tools, and methodologies
- Consumer-oriented, helpful and service-oriented, flexible and open to change, and highly organized and demonstrates a strong work ethic
- A strong business acumen
- Fluency in English
What the job involves
- As the Head of People, you will partner with the leadership team on planning and delivering HR programs and services to the organization, with a business-focused mindset to help translate business objectives to human capital strategies
- You will maintain a full perspective of the business at all times, placing emphasis on employee relations, policies, and people management procedures in application across the business
- You will report to a member of the Chief Financial Officer
- Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership
- Drive an effective client-service People team that instills company-wide trust and value for the People function
- Provide daily support to managers with employee attraction, development, and retention issues which may include: annual reviews, leadership coaching, career pathing, advanced People reporting and metrics, special project assistance, etc.
- Coach business leaders on People policies and processes, inclusive of talent planning, development, legal requirements, and performance management
- Ensure that all strategies implemented are aligned with the overall business priorities and goals
- Leverage workforce insights and analytics to focus the business’s leaders on relevant people management issues while assessing potential strategies and solutions
- Consistently measure effectiveness of People initiatives and programs to ensure they are delivering desired outcomes
- Ensure that People costs and services are aligned with organizational goals

Founded in France, Mooncard is providing expense solutions for businesses through the use of its smart corporate card, which employees are able to use to make business expenses both online and in-store. Designed to simplify expense management for businesses of all sizes and reduce the risk of possible fraud or errors in expense reports, Mooncard is currently the only company to fully automate the processing of expenses and expense accounts.
The startup has partnered with Flying Blue to offer Air France miles to its customers, becoming the first payment card in France to offer this service that isn't American Express. While corporate cards are yet to get off the ground in France, the arrival of Mooncard could see many companies adopting the new expense solution.
Since its inception in 2016, Mooncard has expanded its services to other European countries and now runs several offices around the continent. With customers in a variety of industries, Mooncard is focused on growing this customer base, business reach and increasing its presence in Europe, all while improving its customer offering to meet the ever-evolving demands of the fintech industry.
