Manager of Stablecoin Operations, Circle

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in fintech, crypto, or high-growth environments
• Proven experience executing detailed, data-intensive reconciliations with a strong focus on accuracy
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead SOX-compliant month-end close processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Proficiency with modern collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, GSuite, MacOS, Oracle)

Desirable

• As the Manager of Stablecoins Operations, you will lead critical financial close and reconciliation processes to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of Circle’s stablecoin activities
• You’ll oversee monthly attestation workflows, develop and maintain SOX-compliant procedures, and drive scalable operations as the business grows
• Your role will focus on delivering operational excellence and data integrity, while collaborating cross-functionally to enable automation and ensure robust accounting for new and existing stablecoin products
• Lead month-end close processes for stablecoin accounting, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
• Oversee preparation and review of daily and monthly stablecoin reconciliations and attestations
• Design and implement scalable SOPs, ensuring alignment with SOX internal control requirements
• Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize accounting for new stablecoin products and services
• Implement improved reconciliation workflows, leveraging automation and new system capabilities
• Manage and mentor a direct report, providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and career development
• Contribute to ad-hoc initiatives and continuous improvement projects related to accounting / stablecoin operations
