Who you are
- If you're excited about applying engineering principles to growth problems and drive measurable business impact, this role is for you
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative field with demonstrable projects showcasing both technical depth and business acumen through internships or entrepreneurial ventures
- You bring proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and exposure to modern front-end frameworks through coursework, personal projects, or internships
- You have strong attention to detail, delivering high-quality work and demonstrating ownership of projects from inception to completion
- You understand web fundamentals including performance optimization principles and have used modern CMS platforms
- You're eager to expand your skills in Python and SQL for data analysis, with basic understanding of how to query databases and manipulate data to derive insights
- You're comfortable with AI-powered development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot and have a strong appetite for using them to ship code faster - viewing these tools as essential accelerators for modern engineering
- You excel at first-principles thinking, breaking down complex funnels into constituent parts to identify the highest-leverage opportunities for technical intervention

- You'll build next generation web applications, engineer sophisticated attribution systems that uncover new growth opportunities, and create new growth loops to accelerate our funnel throughput
- As an early-career member of our growth engineering team, you'll have the autonomy to experiment with cutting-edge personalization technologies, build AI-powered systems, and solve complex technical challenges that directly translate to revenue growth
- Design and implement dynamic, personalized web experiences that adapt in real-time based on user behavior, traffic source, and engagement patterns to maximize conversion throughout the funnel
- Build sophisticated attribution and tracking systems that capture micro-conversions and behavioral signals, uncovering optimization opportunities others miss
- Analyze CRM, product usage, and behavioral data to identify drop-off points, then engineer targeted projects that improve pipeline velocity
- Improve predictive scoring models and intelligent content routing that delivers the right messaging to the right prospect at the right time
- Create interactive product demos, applications using React that qualify leads while providing genuine value to prospects
- Engineer A/B testing frameworks and platform analytics pipelines that enable rapid experimentation across the entire growth stack
- Build integrations between marketing tools, CRM systems, and our data warehouse to create a unified view of our customer journeys and enable sophisticated multi-touch attribution

It has become increasingly clear that the next generation of AI applications will be driven by data-centric approaches concentrated around training data creation, management, and evaluation. Crucial within this process is the annotation or 'labelling' of data. Traditionally, such annotation has been left to human workers, which has historically made this part of the process of AI development expensive, slow, and difficult to scale.
Encord offers a computer vision annotation platform that automates a number of manual labelling tasks. Its suite of tools is designed for collaboration across roles and teams, from domain-expert annotators to project managers and machine learning engineers. This allows companies to iterate 10x faster, and develop and deploy high performing models in less time whilst saving on annotation costs.
Demand is clearly there: since its launch in 2020, Encord has facilitated the annotation of more than 100 million frames and images and served customers in verticals such as medical imaging, smart cities, sports analytics and satellite imaging. Furthermore, usage is scaling rapidly, with the number of labels generated on the platform growing ~70% month-over-month.
