Our take
Safeguarding our digital identities has traditionally relied on passwords. But the surge in identity theft and cybercrime have compelled us to seek more robust measures. Biometric techniques like facial recognition and fingerprints are superior digital identifiers, yet the use of such biometrics for tracking staff and customers remains limited in many enterprises.
Addressing this gap, Jumio has developed advanced digital identity solutions designed to furnish enterprises with heightened security. Its solutions encompass cutting-edge biometric identifiers such as facial recognition and fingerprint scanning. Moreover, the integration of machine learning and comprehensive data analysis further enhances its capabilities.
Jumio's adaptation of biometric technology to an enterprise-focused platform is certainly an interesting approach, and its no surprise that investors have offered their support. Recently, the company has focussed heavily on innovation, announcing over 300 patents and patent applications. It has also doubled down on the gaming market, where it brings its ID solutions to the player onboarding process.
