Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, focusing on the AdTech, MarTech, and SaaS
- Demonstrated the ability to create and grow a sales pipeline and drive complex deals to completion
- Deep curiosity and creative problem-solving abilities, but can make data-driven decisions
- Demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, where you learn and iterate quickly to find the right path to success
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, presentations, and industry events
What the job involves
- As an Account Executive, you will have a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy and revenue growth within the AdTech & SaaS verticals
- This is a unique opportunity to shape not only the sales culture of our company but also the way that foundation models get adopted within leading AdTech and SaaS organizations
- You will work with leading companies across the AdTech & SaaS - creative platforms, DSPs, SSPs, measurement providers, and publishers - to help drive innovation in the video advertising industry
- You will own the end to end sales process, from building the first relationships with potential customers to deeply understanding their business needs and helping them succeed with TwelveLabs

- Ideally, you will have experience having built and executed go-to-market strategies as part of the early team in a software startup
- Manage the entire sales cycle to win new business and drive revenue
- You will initiate the first relationships with customers, deeply understand their business needs, educate them on video foundation models, negotiate contracts, and help them succeed with TwelveLabs
- Develop and validate hypotheses on the right strategy for TwelveLabs to bring cutting-edge multimodal video models to market
- Collaborate closely with our product team, sharing customer feedback and insights to inform our product roadmap to deliver enhanced experiences for our customers
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, providing regular progress reports to company leadership
Our take
Developing an algorithm that can understand text or images is (relatively) straightforward. However, the challenge escalates when it comes to understanding video, where these modes merge with audio, and context becomes much harder to grasp.
Twelve Labs has developed a machine learning solution that tackles this challenge by making the inner content of videos both indexable for developers and highly searchable for users. This technology could prove immensely valuable, with use cases extending far beyond simple searchability for end users. It could be employed for more accurate monitoring of community guidelines on social media, enterprise knowledge searches, and a deeper understanding of the value of video content.
With funding under its belt, Twelve Labs is set for rapid growth. The investment will drive R&D, nearly double its workforce, and advance its video understanding technology. As it expands, Twelve Labs is well-positioned to lead the future of multimodal AI and revolutionize how organizations extract values from video content.
