Role
Who you are
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Have 7–10+ years of experience in creative production, project management, or program leadership, working closely with multidisciplinary brand and design teams
- Have 3 to 5+ years of people management experience, ideally within a studio, agency, or in-house brand or marketing environment
- Have a strong track record of driving project outcomes and people growth simultaneously
- Excel at collaboration and influence across creative and cross-functional partners
- Are comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and distributed or global teams
- Stay curious and open to growth — actively building fluency in emerging technologies like AI to unlock creativity, accelerate progress, and amplify impact
- Bonus: Have experience or familiarity with managing web projects in Webflow
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Manager, Brand Studio to help shape the future of our in-house design and creative function
- This role is a key leadership position in our evolving studio model — designed to foster agility, elevate craft quality, and create clear growth paths for designers
- You’ll lead a multi-disciplinary group of ICs, drive strategic alignment and team health at key project moments, and serve as a cultural anchor across the team
- Reporting to the Director, Brand & Web Design
- Manage a team of ~3–6 multi-disciplinary ICs across brand design, web design and motion
- Provide coaching, career development, and performance management
- Act as hiring manager for IC roles, working in partnership with our director to attract and nurture top talent
- Drive alignment and clarity at key inflection points (kickoffs, midpoints, retros) without directly guiding craft
- Provide strategic framing so squads start aligned with business priorities
- Partner with Ops to ensure delivery health, while empowering Leads to maintain creative vision and craft quality
- Resolve conflicts between business needs and creative direction with judgment and clarity
- Foster an inclusive, growth-oriented environment where ICs gain leadership opportunities without needing to manage people
- Strengthen rituals and team practices (crits, showcases, retros) to ensure consistency across disciplines
- Model and reinforce Webflow’s values — building trust, winning together, reinventing ourselves, and delivering with speed, quality, and craft
- In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, at Webflow we will support you in identifying where your interests and development opportunities lie and we'll help you incorporate them into your role

Our take
No-code development systems allow users to create and publish the kind of output that was once only possible with the help of a team of developers. Webflow is one such platform that allows non-developers to create professional websites without knowing any code. It joins others such as Pantheon, Weebly, Squarespace, and Wix in a hotly-contested low-code development market. While competition is high, so too is demand, with low-code platforms accounting for more than 65% of application development activity in 2024.
The popularity of platforms such as Webflow is perhaps not surprising, as low-code development is usually cheaper for companies to implement and reduces time to market. Webflow has been used by over 3.5 million designers and teams to create sites for companies including enterprise brands such as Dell, Rakuten, UpWork, and Petal. It raised a large amount of funding in a Series C round in 2022. This is being used to further develop its platform, with a longer-term goal of pivoting to providing a no-code tool not only for websites, but software development as well.
