Lead DevOps Engineer, Budibase

• We are looking for a Lead Devops Engineer who is passionate about all parts of deployment, automation and monitoring of cloud-native web applications
• We are looking for a great blend of experience, personality and attitude to help us make Budibase world-class
• You’ll be experienced working with AWS but we also support customers on Azure and Google Cloud
• Knowledge of scaling, monitoring and maintaining cloud native architectures
• Proficient with any infrastructure as code automation tools - such as CloudFormation, Ansible,
• Terraform, or the AWS CDK
• You value code but appreciate that the job is not done until it is documented, monitored and tested
• You value documentation, code comments and ability to explain complexity. We hope you have some way to show this off
• You value being alerted to issues before they become problems for customers - we’d like to hear about your experience with monitoring tools
• You are comfortable programming in at least one programming language
• You are comfortable with being on-call as we improve our incident management procedures
• You know your way around linux and that less is more
• You can troubleshoot networking issues
• You’ll know about containerisation using Docker, Kubernetes or similar
• You are curious, driven and motivated to learn
• You are fluent in English
• You have experience using git
