Who you are
- 1-3 years Customer-Facing experience

- Technological competence, with a preference for experience in the SaaS business model, tech sales, or using software sales technology

- Our team engages with potential clients to identify mutual fits and generates new opportunities through proactive prospecting campaigns targeted at key accounts
- We focus on providing an exceptional experience and attend to every detail
- Our goal is to generate high-quality opportunities for our Account Executive team, resulting in new business and the growth of Protex AI’s customer base
- In the role as a Business Development Representative, you will be fundamental in helping to generate new business opportunities to partner with leading companies across North America and Europe
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads through prospecting and handling marketing-generated leads
- Educate prospects on the Protex AI solution, identify good fits through detailed qualification calls, and create new opportunities for Account Executives
- Collaborate with Account Executives on strategic account plans and sales opportunities
- Be friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every interaction with potential customers
- Play an active role in developing and improving processes for the entire BDR team. Creative ideas are welcome!
- Represent Protex AI at conferences, expos, and other key events
Our take
Health and safety in industrial, factory and warehouse environments has long been bemoaned for how it slows work processes down, and for how imperfect it is. It often takes accidents to happen (or be narrowly missed) for interventions to take place, and as a result, thousands of people a year are still killed in workplace accidents in the US alone.
Protex AI is out to make workplaces safer by turning CCTV cameras into AI-powered safety auditors. Its software plugs into an existing CCTV system and maps the actions of people, vehicles and other equipment. The system can automatically capture and report on risks – ultimately allowing H&S teams to make more data-informed decisions.
Since being founded in 2021, Protex AI’s forward thinking approach has seen it expand into locations across Ireland, the UK and the US, winning major customers such as Marks & Spencer and P&G. With significant funding at its back, the company continues to scale to bring AI-powered safety to more workplaces.
