Senior IP Paralegal, Dropbox

• Minimum 10+ years of experience as a patent paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international patent prosecution processes
• Strong docketing and data management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent judgment and the ability to make sound decisions independently
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work cross-functionally within the organization and with outside counsel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience
• Experience with IP management systems

• You’ll be responsible for patent and trademark prosecution support, docketing, and strategic IP operations

• Manage U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution workflows with outside counsel
• Maintain accurate IP docketing and ensure timely filings
• Support invention disclosure reviews and patent committee meetings
• Tracking and filing Information Disclosure Statements
• Assist with IP budget tracking, forecasting, and invoice review
• Coordinate with internal product and engineering teams on IP-related matters
• Maintain and update internal IP records and databases
• Prepare reports related to patent portfolio metrics
