Role
Who you are
- Minimum 1 year of business development or sales experience preferred
- Confident using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, or similar CRM
- Resilient and target-driven
- Experience in outbound sales or lead generation
- Ability to qualify leads using frameworks like BANT
- Comfortable in a complex and shifting environment
- Carbon Market or Sustainability knowledge gained through work experience or education
- Collaborative mindset – able to work closely with sales and marketing teams

- Fluent in Spanish or another relevant language is desirable
What the job involves
- Building and researching prospect lists based on target criteria, industries, and regions
- Qualifying leads via short intro calls and assessing fit using frameworks like BANT
- Generating outbound leads through tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and HubSpot
- Collaborating with marketing to identify and screen target audiences from campaigns
- Booking meetings and demos for the Business Development team
- Maintaining and updating CRM records with lead interactions and progress
- Tracking key metrics, such as number of leads contacted, qualified calls booked, and conversion rates
- Providing feedback to the product team from customer conversations and demos
- Staying up to date with product changes, competitor activity, and market trends
- Attending industry events and conferences (globally) to network, build relationships, and identify new leads
- Occasionally helping with internal projects and contributing to a collaborative team environment
