Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a full-time Sales Engineer in Paderborn or remotely within Germany
- You have a technical degree or a comparable qualification
- You have at least 3 years of experience in consulting-intensive project sales, e.g. in technical field sales or as a sales engineer - ideally in the robotics and automation industry
- You are fluent in German and have a good to very good command of English
- Digital work is easy for you and you are familiar with common CRM tools
- You have a class B driver's license and are willing to spend up to 4 days a week on site with customers
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with the team and working on strategic sales topics
What the job involves
- You will be responsible for your own sales territory, ideally close to your place of residence
- You will maintain existing customer relationships and develop new customers
- You always keep an eye on the market and the competition
- You analyze the customer's technical processes in the factory and can discuss possible solutions on-site
- You check the technical feasibility together with our application engineering department. This enables you to offer your customers a realistic assessment of the technical solution
- You prepare customer-specific offers and present them to your customers
- You conduct contract negotiations and then hand over the orders to the application technology department
- You will attend trade fairs and other networking events
