Role
Who you are
- 8-10+ years of HR experience, ideally in a high-growth organization
- Experience strategically partnering with department heads or senior leadership
- Strong ability to identify business priorities and recommend innovative People & Culture strategies
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and leading leadership development programs
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits, with the ability to apply insights to workforce planning
- Solution-focused thinking, empathy, strong judgment, and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational development experience supporting team effectiveness, coaching, and culture
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience building relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong employee relations, mediation, and conflict resolution experience
- Expertise in Google Suite and Microsoft, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across data and project execution
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, international matrix organization
What the job involves
- As our Sr. People Business Partner, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to gain a deep understanding of each department’s unique needs, translating those insights into actionable People & Culture strategies
- You will lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, optimize talent acquisition, and drive overall organizational performance
- In addition, you will partner with the People team on a range of initiatives, including designing processes that align individual performance with business objectives, guiding performance reviews and goal setting, and supporting DE&I efforts, employee relations, and organizational design
- Engage with assigned departments to build strong, collaborative relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees
- Deeply understand business objectives, identify key priorities, and recommend innovative People & Culture strategies that drive impact
- Provide strategic People & Culture guidance to align people strategies with business objectives and contribute to organizational growth and success
- Talent Acquisition & Recruiting: Develop and leverage workforce planning insights and analysis to anticipate talent needs and recommend proactive hiring strategies
- Partner with hiring managers to align talent acquisition efforts with business objectives, ensuring a strategic approach to workforce growth
- Provide guidance on role scoping, internal mobility, and succession planning
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, L&D, and HRBPs to enhance hiring processes, improve candidate experience, and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment
- Leadership Development & Training
- Partner with Learning & Development and People & Culture Business Partners to drive strategic leadership development programs, focusing on mid-to-senior-level growth
- Design, build, and roll out leadership training initiatives
- Implement learning solutions that align with business needs and foster long-term career growth
- Coaching & Manager Support:
- Advise and coach managers through key organizational challenges, such as team building, restructuring, scaling, and managing through change
- Provide leadership on creating engagement initiatives, succession planning, and developing strategies to maintain high-performing teams in a dynamic environment
- People and Culture Initiatives:
- Lead People & Culture initiatives that support retention, engagement, recognition, compensation, talent management, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Ensure the implementation of best practices that foster an inclusive and positive work culture
- People Metrics & Data Analysis:
- Utilize People & Culture data and metrics to evaluate the impact of initiatives across the business
- Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to improve employee engagement, retention, culture, and overall business operations
- Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies
- Provide mediation and conflict resolution support, creating a positive and collaborative work environment
- Process Improvement & Efficiency:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline People and Culture processes, drive efficiencies, and enhance the overall employee experience
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure timely and effective execution
- Global Workforce Support
- Support an internationally distributed workforce, ensuring alignment with local labor laws, cultural nuances, and business needs
- Stay informed on global HR trends and employment regulations to provide strategic guidance

Traditionally, making music has relied on instruments, musicians, and a lot of coordination. Splice turns the music industry on its head by streamlining the process of creating, collaborating, and sharing music.
Acting like a GitHub for musicians, Splice sets itself apart from other music production software by offering samples and loops to its customers for a relatively affordable monthly flat fee, while simultaneously allowing creative artists to sell their sounds for royalty-free use. As such, the platform has been used by more than 2.5 million users, from bedroom DJs to mainstream artists such as Eminem, Ariana Grande, and Drake.
Splice co-founder Steve Martocci brings a track record from his previous startup, GroupMe, which was sold to Skype for $85 million just a year after launching. Splice is now valued at nearly half a billion dollars and is focusing on partnerships and adding more samples to its library to work on its product and attract new customers.
