Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of product management experience; technical background preferred
- Strong understanding of identity systems, including user authentication, authorization, account management, and access control
- Extensive experience working with authentication technologies, including the implementation and integration of modern authentication protocols
- Analytical mindset with the ability to design queries to support data-informed decisions, evaluations, and goal-setting
- Proven track record of responding to emerging user insights and shifting market dynamics
- Ability to thrive in an environment with little direction, create a vision, and find the resources to execute it
- Exceptional communications skills – scaling from day-to-day collaboration to exec presentations
- Experience managing a set of solutions, not simply a single product
What the job involves
- As part of Epic’s Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business
- As the Senior Product Manager for Identity, you will be the backbone of the team
- This role is responsible for overseeing all our account systems, including authorization, authentication, and account linking
- The focus is on managing Epic identity, ensuring secure login processes, integration with authenticators, and implementing two-factor authentication for enhanced account security
- Own the vision and strategy by developing and maintaining a cohesive system-level vision that aligns with user needs, Epic’s principles, legal requirements, and platform certification standards
- Own the product roadmap by driving alignment between development and product teams to deliver impactful, user-focused features on a consistent, regular cadence
- Work directly alongside cross-functional teams to guide execution, ensuring continuous progress and alignment with goals
- Oversee all aspects of Epic’s account systems, including authentication, authorization, account linking, and implementing two-factor authentication to enhance account security
- Use analytics to design queries and evaluations that inform product decisions, set goals, and track progress
- Present updates and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, from day-to-day collaboration with teams to executive presentations
- Oversee the full suite of identity solutions, ensuring they work seamlessly together and are integrated across Epic’s platform

Epic's Unreal Engine technology brings high-fidelity, interactive experiences to PC, console, mobile, AR, VR and the Web. Epic Games' model focuses on two key areas: creating games and offering its game engine technology to other developers. The release of next-generation consoles like the PS5 has enabled Epic Games to push the limits of their software, meaning it'll lead the charge in the creation of next-gen games. 2024 saw an unprecedented investment in Epic Games by Disney, amounting to $1.5 billion. This will enable Disney to promote iconic characters through the Fortnite game. With the number of people enjoying video games continuing to grow, there is no sign of Epic Games slowing down any time soon.
