Who you are

5+ years of product management experience
3+ years of experience with data technology and data management product experience
Familiarity with healthcare data standards and the healthcare data regulatory standards
Experience with tools like: Redshift, Tableau, Redbird, Athena, and Sagemaker
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
Ability to use SQL to write queries and QA data sets
Able to think beyond constraints to imagine new ways to use data to impact our members
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical understanding
You have a history of consistently delivering results against target metrics
You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a knack for solving problems with limited resources
You are a strong writer and clear communicator
You are collaborative, and able to drive alignment in a group of stakeholders
You are a great listener, and you ask good questions. You aren’t satisfied with answers like, “It’s how we’ve always done it.” You keep asking “Why?” until you really understand
You are comfortable analyzing data and leading research/discovery efforts to understand a problem space, identify opportunities, and propose solutions
Prior experience with Continuous Discovery approach to product development a plus

What the job involves

As a Product Manager for Data Enablement, you will lead a team that’s building, organizing, and optimizing our data systems to democratize analytics throughout Omada
You will play a crucial role in transforming our healthcare data architecture and creating powerful, user-friendly analytics tools that enable technical and non-technical users to gain insights into our programs
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design effective technical solutions, and drive the execution and adoption of these solutions throughout the organization
In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineering, design, commercial, care delivery, clinical, information security, compliance and data to identify the biggest opportunities for improvement, prioritize projects, build new features, and measure their impact
In this role, you will directly contribute to building new analytic and data use capabilities and to support the Omada experience
You’ll immerse yourself in factors influencing members’ motivation to evolve how they learn, build habits, and engage with Omada’s tools and care teams on the path to better health
Your impact will touch members, care teams, content delivery, connected devices, and more
You will help shape new methods for data acquisition and aggregation to help grow our business and expand our use of AI
Be accountable for team metrics and feature success
Work with engineering to prioritize and manage the team’s backlog
Write clear product specs
Work with data to ask questions, understand analyses, and evaluate whether our tests and projects were successful

Our take

Health tracking apps help people to analyze their health data and provide passive notifications and reminders based on their activities. However, these notifications are easy to ignore, and do not have any form of medical authority.

Omada Health offers various virtual health programs that cover areas such as diabetes, weight management and hypertension. As opposed to receiving notifications based on their health, Omada shares real-time health data with both patients and healthcare professionals to increase commitment levels to health tracking apps.

The startup claims that this human-interaction from healthcare professionals within a health tracking framework increases the likelihood of a positive outcome by 250%. Omada currently uses more than a billion data points recorded from 550,000 patients, aiming to use this data to broaden strategies within medical communities.
