- You are comfortable leading and working with remote teams
- 10 - 15+ years experience in a senior leadership role, heading up software product management and user experience
- 10+ years experience in healthcare-related products
- Demonstrated experience in driving business growth through product innovation
- Must be a proactive, decisive leader who takes initiative and demonstrates a high level of accountability
- Ability to effectively lead and communicate in a matrixed organizational model
- Strong analytical and cross functional product management background
- Agile product discovery and development, launch and lifecycle management experience
- Experience leading a cross functional organization in executing projects from ideation to completion
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree or MBA preferred

What the job involves
- The Product team knows the pulse of the market
- They are responsible for evaluating what our products do, how it solves the market’s problems and how Viz does it better than the competition
- While they are mostly responsible for delivering new solutions and capabilities to the market, educating our target audiences about the company’s offerings, they are also acutely aware of what the market responds to – in other words, what the market needs and how do we align market needs to meet and exceed our growth strategy
- They regularly pass on any feedback or learning from their interactions with users and customers to the internal teams to help design the product roadmap with the prevalent market needs and problems
- As we build and scale our company, we are looking for a Vice President of Product, who will:
- Provide strong leadership and evangelism of the product vision and strategy, clearly communicating the vision and strategy to teams and inspiring them to develop innovative solutions and a product portfolio that fit into the broader strategic framework
- Operationalize and continuously improve product management processes and decision making, ensuring consistent execution from ideation to delivery, while aligning cross-functional teams and improving product lifecycle efficiency
- Establish standardized metrics and tools for tracking product development progress, empowering teams to make data-driven decisions, optimize workflows, and consistently deliver high-quality products on time
- Collaborate closely with the R&D leaders to develop scalable team structures that optimize the delivery of value and product quality, ensuring alignment across teams while fostering innovation and operational excellence
- Partner with cross-functional business leaders, customers and stakeholders to lead and champion the development of new products and the evolution of existing ones that delight our customers and meet strategic and financial business objectives
- Lead the product (outbound and inbound) and UX/product design team, distributed across the US and Tel Aviv, based on a proven track record of recruiting and leading top talent across multiple geographies; maintain and improve the team’s knowledge and expertise
- Drive product innovation and delivery within current and new market segments that will enable Viz.ai to achieve growth ambitions
- Assess financial and technical feasibility, estimate final product cost, price and margins, and develop strategy and distribution channels in collaboration with finance and commercial teams
- Leverage market research, industry trends and an understanding of competitor strategies to drive analysis resulting in product change
- Demonstrate passion for understanding client needs and pain points, identify opportunities for innovation and translate opportunities into a strategic product roadmap

Our take
In the U.S, strokes are the third leading cause of death killing more than 140,000 people annually. These fatality rates are partially a result of strokes being hard to diagnose, and once they occur it is often too late.
Viz uses artificial intelligence to rapidly identify stroke victims to provide treatment faster, aiming to save lives and the financial costs associated with medical treatment. The company achieves this by using machine learning which is trained to identify anomalies within brain scans that neuroscientists struggle to spot.
With a valuation of over $1 billion, in 2023, Viz secured capital from pharmaceutical giant Bristol-Meyers-Squibbs to develop an AI algorithm and provider workflow focused on detecting hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. This is part of Viz's objective of branching out from a focus on strokes into new healthcare territory.
