Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 5+ years of business experience in analytics, business intelligence, operations, marketing, sales, customer success, sales ops and/or finance in SaaS organizations
Desirable
- Proven track record of successfully leading revenue operations initiatives and driving measurable results to meet sales goals
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity and change
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Advanced proficiency in CRM, business intelligence, and sales/marketing systems, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. NetSuite and Ironclad skills are a plus
- Experience working across multiple types of sales cycles including enterprise, mid-market, transactional, and digital sales
- Highly effective in all forms of communication: Presentation, email, video, etc
- Leads by example. Demonstrates a bias toward action, results orientation, and a style conducive to teamwork and collaboration
What the job involves
- Sales Efficiency: Improvement in sales efficiency metrics such as sales cycle length, conversion rates, and deal velocity
- Forecast Accuracy: Enhancement in the accuracy of sales forecasts, leading to better resource allocation and planning
- Alignment: Strengthening of alignment between sales, marketing, and other revenue-related functions to ensure cohesive execution of revenue strategies
- Data Quality: Improvement in data quality and accuracy, leading to better decision-making and actionable insights for revenue growth and ensuring 100% account assignment at all times
- Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and other departments to align goals and ensure a unified approach to revenue generation and retention
- Build insight-rich dashboards and reports in our front-end analytics tools including reporting to be used for Sales Comp and other KPI needs
- Employ data analysis tools and techniques (using our BI system) to assist the business units in decision-making from data reports produced
- Track leading indicators of customer health and renewal - and analyze them to understand what's going well and what's not
- Analyze and streamline end-to-end revenue processes, from lead generation to customer retention, to improve efficiency and drive growth
- Coordinate and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast roll-ups across all business units and global revenue teams ensuring forecast hygiene for new business, renewals, upsells, cross-sells, down-sells, churn, and professional services
- Build a deep understanding of Netsuite applications and partner with the business systems and finance teams
- Regularly monitor customer and territory assignments, ensuring every account is owned by a designated sales representative at all times
- Provide data-driven insights into sales territory assignment to maximize the potential of existing customers and addressable market
- Partner with our CRM and technology teams to troubleshoot, test, and maintain the platform and configurations to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Support and assist with Annual Planning execution (OKR/KPI development, segmentation, portfolio/territory definition)
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our revenue operations
