5-8 years of experience in data-intensive, full-stack development projects

What the job involves

In this role, you will own the full development lifecycle, from architecting new features to shipping them to production, utilizing your strong experience with web applications and databases
We're looking for a self-starter who understands best practices and can drive projects autonomously without needing extensive mentorship
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly with both engineers and internal consulting partners, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Leverage your strong front-end skills using tools like Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind to build a beautiful and efficient web application that our customers use to design and monitor the performance of their value-based care contracts
Leverage your strong backend development skills in Python and with platforms like Databricks and AWS while working on the processing of high volumes of complex healthcare data
Work closely with Product and Design teams to create a user experience that intuitively conveys complex healthcare and financial information
Collaborate with an actuarial science team that primarily works in SAS, R, and Excel
Contribute to the design, implementation, and overall development of our products
Drive innovation and deliver valuable features for our customers
Coach and mentor junior engineers on the team

Recognizing this misalignment is Arbital Health, which leverages technology to design and measure outcome-based contracts, acting as an impartial entity to assess whether agreed-upon outcomes are fulfilled. The company's product offerings include value assessments for health vendors, value analysis for payers, and actuarial advisory services.

Arbital Health has secured significant funding, the latest of which supports the expansion of its payer and provider facing capabilities, growth of its market-leading actuarial team, and many more ventures. It has also launched Merlin AI, a value-based care assistant that helps providers, payers, and other risk bearing organizations to work with complex contracts more easily.
