Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative mindset, helping the team grow while building reliable products from the ground up
- Proven track record of technical leadership and collaboration on complex projects
- Significant professional experience (typically 8+ years) in Java, Kotlin, or other object-oriented languages
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and data structures
- Proficiency in modern software development tools and practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient with modern web standards and technologies (e.g. REST, GraphQL)
- A bias towards action, with the ability to balance between getting things done and making things perfect
- Ability to work core EST working hours
Desirable
- Experience in an early stage technology startup
- Experience building products from scratch is a huge plus!
- Experience building 3rd party integrations
- Experience in Ads Tech (working with Google Ads APIs, Meta APIs and/or TikTok APIs) is string plus
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for our Ads & Insights products. In this role, you’ll mentor engineers, establish best practices, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable systems
- Join a team of Design, Product, QA, and other engineering members in developing robust and scalable full-stack software applications
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java/Kotlin, adhering to best practices and coding standards
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Leverage cutting edge AI tools to enhance your development workflow, improve velocity, and help pioneer new approaches to building - contributing to a culture of innovation and productivity across the team
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical meetings to ensure the quality and reliability of the software
