Who you are
- You are obsessed with the needs of the users
- You have a background which gives you an understanding of payroll or HR, or both
- You have strong experience shipping product in a startup or scale up environments with a degrees of uncertainty
- You can think deeply about product, design and engineering decisions; and you have a flexibility that allows you to move from thinking creatively to analytically

What the job involves
- As Product Manager at Boundless, you will be responsible for advocating for all our users and delivering validated solutions to solve their problems
- You will be reporting into our Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) and will be working alongside all our internal stakeholders to deliver on the product pipeline
- We have ambitious plans to expand our product offering over the coming year so this is an exciting time to join an expanding team with lots of scope for growth within the role
- Working with leadership on validating product vision
- Creating an actionable roadmap for bringing our vision to production
- Prioritisation of roadmap work vs ad-hoc needs
- Validating individual problems we are aiming to solve through research and talking to stakeholders
- Developing software solutions, and internal systems where relevant, to address validated user problems
- Fielding engineering team for input on solution design
- Translating solutions into actionable specifications to feed the engineering backlog
- Implementing phased approaches for larger pieces of work
- Owning the delivery and management of feature release in conjunction with the marketing and customer experience teams
- Coordinating internal systems changes where relevant
- Defining and tracking success criteria for features
- QA strategy and planning alongside CPTO
- We work a standard 8-hour day but operate core hours from 11.00-15.00 Dublin time, where you are expected to be contactable - leaving you to fit in the remaining 4 hours whenever works best for you
- Running and improving processes across the software development lifecycle including sprints, feature requests, bugs and roadmapping
- Documentation across the board, from systems and processes to individual features and release plans
Our take
International working environments are ever more commonplace. With this comes a larger talent pool and more diverse workforce. Boundless aims to solve the difficulties for small and mid-size businesses with a solution that removes the common barriers to growing teams internationally.
Boundless aims to simplify administration and legal issues for companies with international teams through its platform, which handles payroll, taxes and HR compliance in a single place. Its expertise in handling international employment has attracted a steadily growing customer base which includes firms such as CitySwift, Next 15 and Fund Recs.
Many companies continue to transition to remote work (or begin that way) and require international compliance. This will mean Boundless has an ever-growing market to dominate, and it will hope to build on the strong position it finds itself in.
