Role
Who you are
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, partner success, or account management—ideally in climate-tech, SaaS, or sustainability-driven companies
- Proven ability to lead complex, consultative sales cycles
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and projects in parallel
- Experience selling SaaS solutions to enterprise clients
- CRM fluency (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and data-driven sales planning
- Fluency in German and English
Desirable
- Experience in the corporate travel or TMC space
- Background in co-selling or channel sales with ecosystem partners
- Familiarity with carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, or ESG frameworks
- Master’s degree in business, sustainability, or a related field
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Enterprise Key Account Manager to own and grow relationships with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and other strategic partners.
- You’ll collaborate closely with our partners to co-sell sustainability solutions to enterprise and mid-market clients—empowering them to measure and reduce travel emissions
- This role blends commercial acumen, customer success, and climate tech—perfect for someone who thrives on creating impact
- Own and grow key accounts (TMCs and other strategic partners), driving commercial and climate success
- Be a trusted advisor to travel managers, TMC consultants, and corporate sustainability leaders
- Co-sell to corporates: collaborate with partners to pitch and roll out SQUAKE solutions
- Enable partners through training, content, and strategic support to scale sustainability adoption
- Manage the full sales cycle—from scoping to close and onboarding
- Build account plans and growth roadmaps, identifying upsell and long-term impact opportunities
- Collect and share customer insights to improve our product and partner experience
Our take
With the travel industry under increasing pressure to reduce its carbon footprint, decision-makers across the sector are struggling to come to grips with the data and transparency needed to make the necessary changes. The travel industry is unique in its complexity of information layers and Squake is a start-up attempting to tackle this problem.
Squake offers a logistics and sustainability solution for travel companies via its Application Programming Interface (API) plugin. The API can integrate into existing travel logistics systems and calculate the carbon outputs for any given activity or task via analysis of national and international standards. It can then provide solutions to offset and reduce the carbon impact of the activity.
Embedded across a travel company’s booking flow, Squake’s product is customisable as per the needs of their customer. With clients including Lufthansa (from whose innovation hub it was developed), ATG Travel, and Reed & Mackay, it’s working across a range of travel-focused companies, keeping its net suitably wide. In 2023, Squake received significant VC funding and plans to use this for technology R&D, new hires, and growth in strategic markets.
