Who you are
- You are a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional who’s passionate about building strong financial foundations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. NetSuite, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-moving organization and able to work well cross-functionally
- Team player who wants to grow within a company
What the job involves
- As part of our Finance & Accounting team, you will be responsible for:
- Handling general accounting functions including accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed asset depreciation and amortization, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensuring the timely close of the company’s financial records on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Assisting in year-end financial reporting and audit processes by preparing supporting schedules and audit deliverables
- Applying accounting principles in accordance with US GAAP to prepare, analyze, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports
- Supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust internal controls over financial reporting
- Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting, reconciliation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions
- Preparing and filing various state and local tax forms and other regulatory filing requirements
- Provide ongoing support of internal customer needs, specifically Operations, Sales, FP&A, and Legal teams
- Participating in developing and refining day-to-day operating practices with a focus on continued process improvement
- Performing adhoc projects to support finance, accounting, and various cross-functional initiatives

With its RouteWise AI platform it helps districts cut costs, improve efficiency and manage driver shortages, all while new safety modules and AI-driven planning tools continue to raise industry standards.
