Who you are
- 5+ years experience with a successful track record operating in data, analytics, software, or other recurring revenue businesses
- Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) experience
- Technically proficient in understanding software and analytics products (experience using BI tools like Looker a huge plus)
- Proven ability to manage enterprise accounts across multiple sizes, verticals, and use cases
- A strong track record of working with decision-makers within organizations to align product value with organizational need and budget
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment while maintaining a collaborative, team-oriented approach to your work
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, leveraging sales prospecting tools, CRM, and product documentation, customer notes, etc
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions effectively
- Willingness to travel at least 25% of time to meet with clients and attend industry events
- Are self starter who enjoys having autonomy in how they work

What the job involves
- To support the rapid growth of Gridwise Analytics, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business for our emerging data product across several key verticals (Gig Services, Financial Services, Real Estate Site Selection, etc.). We are looking for a sales leader who can own the end-to-end process from prospecting to close
- As an early member of the go-to-market team, this person will also help inform our sales playbook, create new collateral, and advise leadership on where to make future investments
- Reporting to the VP of Revenue, this person will be a subject matter expert in the data and analytics industry and be comfortable advising customers on how our proprietary, first-to-market data offering can help accelerate their business outcomes
- Proactively identify, pursue and establish new client relationships, driving high-value engagements from initial contact through close
- Identify new business opportunities through scalable and creative prospecting strategies, and partner with the business development and marketing teams to augment self-sourced prospecting activity
- Lead end-to-end consultative solution sales cycles, taking a deep dive into prospect needs, goals, and pain points to tailor value-driven solutions
- Strategically map and penetrate key accounts, building lasting relationships with multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Articulate the value proposition of in a clear, compelling and persuasive manner, aligning with client business outcomes
- Leverage technical understanding of our data products to creatively address customer needs across different verticals and use cases
- Assist Customer Success team with onboarding new customers after deal close - this includes data configurations, technical integration for data delivery, and kickoff calls
- Collaborate with internal Product & Engineering teams to ensure prospect and customer feedback informs the product roadmap priorities and feature enhancements
- Collaborate with Marketing to help build customer credibility through case studies, co-marketing, events/webinars, etc
- Represent Gridwise at industry conferences and networking events to expand market presence and deepen industry knowledge
- Provide guidance and mentorship to sales team members, fostering skill development and contributing to the overall success of the sales organization

Gridwise acts as a co-pilot to rideshare drivers. The app leverages data to help drivers maximise their earnings and track their business performance.
Gig driving markets are constantly in flux so keeping track of this data becomes near impossible. Gridwise puts the information a driver needs into a single place, aggregating statistics on pay, traffic and events in a major city, then directing drivers to areas and times when they’re likely to earn the most. It’s service is reputable due to its large user-base, now amounting to several hundreds of thousands, which provides the app with data on millions of transactions, in turn generating more usable insights.
Gridwise has evolved since its conception, now allowing users to compare earnings across different platforms, like Uber vs. Lyft. A 2022 investment round led by Crosslink Capital has allowed Gridwise to scale up both its team and its available tools, helping drivers to better manage their businesses.
