Have 3-5+ years experience working in smaller companies, wearing multiple hats
Be familiar with:
Enterprise Apple ecosystem
At least one MDM stack
At least one IdP stack (e.g. Okta)
Networking (e.g. VPNs, VLANs, NATs, firewalls, DNS)
Modern office productivity suites (e.g. Google Workspace)
Enterprise Email infrastructure (deliverability, routing, reputation)
Be able to automate their own work
Be pragmatic, get stuff done, and not be afraid to get their hands dirty
Be extremely diligent when it comes to operations and designing business processes
Have patience and take pride in providing excellent customer service (no BOFH!)
Work independently with little oversight in a fast-paced environment with high-energy colleagues

What the job involves

We are looking for an IT Manager to unlock the personal productivity of our team
This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground level early on, contribute and learn in myriad ways, make key decisions, expand your impact as the business grows, have fun, and learn a ton in the process
Drive down the daily helpdesk toil through automation and infrastructure improvements
Take care of office needs - from A/V to Internet/Wi-Fi, from laptops to PoE cabling
Own the MDM/macOS/office stack for the whole workforce
Be responsible for IT vendors (from ISP to MSP, from MDM to VoIP) and their costs
Own IT security and compliance and relevant processes and automation
Occasionally visit our Utah office
Shape the IT culture of the company

In recent years, companies like Ramp, Brex, Divvy, and others have emerged to provide easier ways for companies to allow their employees to pay for job-related expenses through corporate cards. However, none of these services really work for businesses operating automobile fleets - approximately 10% of B2B card spend in the US.

That’s where Coast comes in, offering a modern card issuing expense solution specifically built for fleets. The Coast card meets the demands of fleets-specific controls, security, and visibility, contributing to preventing fraud and unauthorized use. Its platform allows fleet managers to visualize spend, block or flag transactions for review, and set their own rules for card holders.

With back-to-back funding rounds awarded in 2024, Coast has been focused on expanding its team and the platform’s capabilities, offering a wider range of financial products - including parking, maintenance, and other on-the-road expenses on top of just fuel. Its Visa Fleet card program, which enables Coast Visa Fleet cardholders to make payments wherever Visa is accepted, makes it an attractive option in the market as fleet management continues to modernize.
