Role
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of hands-on marketing experience, with a strong focus on execution
- You have 3+ years of team management experience in B2B SaaS
- You are a hands-on leader who embraces experimentation and data-driven iteration
- You are a strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to optimizing SaaS KPIs
- You are tech-savvy and analytical, with expertise in SEO, SEA, and automation
- You have experience in or a strong affinity for the public sector and digital democracy
- You are a relationship builder who loves to collaborate effectively across teams
- You are fluent in English; additional European languages (German, Dutch, French) are a plus

What the job involves
- You will lead Go Vocal’s lead our marketing strategy, grow our international presence, and strengthen our global brand
- Go Vocal, a global impact SaaS scale-up, is looking for a purpose-driven Head of Marketing who is passionate about digital democracy to lead our marketing strategy, grow our international presence, and strengthen our global brand as we scale to 1,000+ cities within three years
- You’ll align team efforts with business goals, lead our marketing team, and position Go Vocal as a thought leader in digital civic engagement
- Develop, execute, and optimize a growth-focused strategy in collaboration with the GTM Lead
- Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize campaigns and track key SaaS KPIs
- Guide and mentor a team of four, fostering creativity, experimentation, and collaboration
- Enable your team to execute with agility and innovation
- Position Go Vocal as a thought leader in participatory democracy
- Strengthen brand messaging and visual identity by creating impactful campaigns
Our take
Founded in 2015 with the purpose of making decision-making more equitable, CitizenLab offers a platform used by local governments to enable them to engage people online and make informed decisions.
What was three clients in 2016 is now numbered at around 400 with the company working with hundreds of local governments and organisations across 18 countries. Recent global events have meant that the government plays an even larger role in people’s lives, hence more citizens are willing to engage in policy-making, creating more demand for its service.
To adapt to the evolving landscape, CitizenLab has embraced change by adopting an open-source approach, thereby lowering the barriers to participation and enhancing transparency. In line with its commitment to facilitating public engagement, CitizenLab has also forged a strategic partnership with Konveio. This collaboration aims to streamline the accessibility and interaction with public documents, including feedback-gathering exercises, and promoting transparency in decision-making processes.
