Who you are

2+ years in digital marketing. Experience in SEO is a plus
You’re organized and can manage small projects independently from start to finish
You’re resourceful and relentless when it comes to solving problems independently
Bonus if you’ve worked with Ahrefs’ tools
Bonus if you’ve worked with a notable YouTube channel
Comfortable conducting research using SEO tools (like Ahrefs) and interpreting data to derive actionable insights
Basic understanding of WordPress (or similar CMS) – able to build and manage simple landing pages or websites for experiments
Understanding of product-led content marketing
Understanding with major social media platforms and how content spreads across them
Competent in handling content creation tasks from start to finish: writing copy, tweaking visuals, or collaborating on creative assets
Analytical mindset – you enjoy digging into numbers, tracking KPIs, and refining strategies based on data
Ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, or workflows as needed
General tech-savviness – whether it’s using Zapier to automate a task or figuring out a new SaaS tool, you’re not afraid to tinker and figure things out

Collaborating on marketing experiments to achieve key objectives
Documenting your journey as you execute experiments sharing what works, what doesn’t, and how you solve challenges independently
Helping with video production as needed

The Singapore-based start-up updates its index with the freshest backlinks on the internet every 15 minutes, and its crawler process up to 8 billion pages a day, making it the fifth most active crawler on the web.

In 2022, the company invested $60 million of resources into designing and building its own search engine called Yep. In doing so, Ahrefs will be able to run its own search index, rather than relying on APIs on Google or Bing. The start-up’s CEO has long been a critic of Google and the way it handles its data and in 2023, it's released its own book on the building blocks of SEO.
